Hk P2000Sk
The Hk P2000SK (subcompact) is similar to the somewhat bigger P2000 model in that it combines components of the popular HK USP Compact handgun with more current technology advancements from HK engineers, but it is smaller and easier to conceal.
The USP Compact “LEM” (Law Enforcement Modification) model’s 2001-introduced Law Enforcement Modification (also known as Combat Defense Action) trigger system is available for the hk P2000 SK for sale. This special pre-cocked hammer system combines a double action hammer system with the benefits of a cocked striker component (consistent level of trigger pull and short trigger travel from first to last round fired). The trigger pull on the LEM/CDA has been decreased from 12 to 15 pounds (53.4 to 66.7 N) found on many conventional pistols to 7.3 to 8.5 pounds (32.5 to 37.8 Newtons).
Utilizing such an improved trigger mechanism combines usability and security into a practical, cutting-edge trigger function that stops accidental fire. Additionally, in the event of an ammunition-related failure to fire, recocking the Subcompact only requires a second or third squeeze of the trigger, not the slide being pulled back first.
The improved LEM/CDA trigger system combines a single-action pistol’s quick, precise trigger with a double-action revolver’s dependability. A double-action/single-action model with a decock button positioned on the back of the frame is also available for shooters who prefer a traditional double-action/single-action handgun. The P2000 Subcompact may be easily adjusted to accommodate any shooter’s hand thanks to two readily installable grip plates.
And the same ambidextrous magazine release and dual slide release levers found on the P2000 make handling the Subcompact easy for both right- and left-handed shooters.
A set of abbreviated “industry standard” mounting rails on the P2000SK enable lights, laser aimers, and other accessories to be added by sliding them onto the open rail system. The HK P2000 SK also can use widely available, reliable USP Compact magazines.
